We collect the following information when you use My Flight Friend:

• Account info: your email address and hashed password
• Flight data: flight routes, dates, times, cabin class, and prices you enter
• Payment info: handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number
• Usage data: basic logs of app actions (price checks, alerts sent)

2. How We Use Your Data

• To monitor flight prices and send you alerts
• To generate credit request email drafts
• To manage your subscription via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (alerts, password resets, receipts)

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except as described below.

3. Third Parties

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy
• SendGrid (Twilio) — email delivery
• SerpApi — flight price data via Google Flights
• Render — cloud hosting

4. Data Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. All connections use HTTPS/TLS. Your flight data is stored in a private database accessible only to your account.

5. Your Rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@myflightfriend.com. We will process deletion requests within 7 days.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

7. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
